Professor Reginald Latortue received his master’s degree in technology and TESOL with an emphasis on teaching English to speakers of other languages integrated in educational computer from Barry University in 2004. In 2005, he started to teach English for Academic Purposes at Miami Dade College. Nevertheless, in 2011, he decided to diversify his journey and has become a member of the Broward College & Elite Language Academy faculty where he has continued unleashing his passion. He has experience teaching students from many diverse cultural backgrounds, including many international students and students who possess a wide range of learning styles. He has always been passionate about integrating technology into teaching English to speakers of other languages, and He brings that energy into the classroom, encouraging his students to see the importance to read, write, and speak English efficiently as a dynamic way to develop their ideas and to express their individual strengths. Professor Maidelin Rodriguez holds a Ph.D. in Modern Languages and Literatures from the University of Miami. She teaches Spanish, English, and Portuguese, and brings over 15 years of experience to the classroom. Professor Rodriguez has taught a broad range of courses, including Spanish Language and Literature, Medical Spanish, Spanish for Business Professionals, English as a Second Language, English for Academic Purposes, and Portuguese for both second-language and heritage learners.

Mr. Harry Dominguez is a Trilingual ESL Teacher (80 hour TEFL certificate) and Attorney (Universidad Católica de Santiago de Guayaquil, 2022), passionate about teaching and making sure his students excel in all aspects of their learning journey. Ms. Rocio Espinoza has over 28 years of experience as an English teacher. She holds a Master’s degree in Education with a specialization in Educational Policies and Management from the Institute for Education Quality in Lima, Peru. Rocio has also served as an Academic Coach, training English teachers in modern approaches to teaching English as a Foreign Language at the Peruvian – North American Language Institute ( ICPNA). Following this role, she led the Academic English department at ICPNA where she conducted numerous workshops on effective teaching strategies for the English classroom. Passionate about sharing her expertise, she is enthusiastic about imparting her knowledge to both students and colleagues at Elite Language Academy ( ELA).

Professor Juan Gabaldon-Vielma, Ph.D., has been teaching Spanish for twelve years. He has an M.A. in Romance Languages (Spanish Linguistics Track) from The University of New Orleans and a Ph.D. in Spanish from The University of Oklahoma. He has taught at The University of New Orleans, Nunez Community College, The University of Oklahoma, Earlham College, and Broward College. In the last institution, he teaches basic Spanish, but he also taught intermediate and advanced Spanish, medical Spanish, and courses in Spanish literature. He enjoys teaching Spanish and sharing Hispanic Culture. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Psychology from her studies abroad in the Catholic University of Guayaquil. She has been teaching English as a second language both abroad and in the USA for thirty years.
